Weeton Show - Horses

 ✨Entry cut-off date is 30th June 2024 ✨

Across the equestrian community, local shows are an opportunity to meet friends, old and new and showcase your scruffy pony or pristine hunter.

Anyone can get involved and we encourage entrants who live locally as well as further afield.

There are over 30 classes taking place throughout the day including:

-     Working Hunter
-     Showing
-     Community Pony

Whether you are a regular show goer or a complete beginner, we have a competition for you!

Achieve your goals, celebrate success and more importantly have a fun and enjoyable day in a low pressure environment.

We are always grateful to the support of our benefactors and there are plenty of sponsorship opportunities and ways you can help us in the run-up and on the day. Please contact our Horse Secretary, Rebecca Middleton, to find out more on horses@weetonshow.co.uk / 07792634154.

Our schedule will be published soon but please keep looking at our website and social media for the latest news and updates!

All classes must be entered in advance on or before 30 June 2024 (except fancy dress and clear round). Late entries will not be accepted or returned.

Before entering, please make sure you read the societies general rules & conditions as well as the specific rules relating to the horse section. These rules are for your safety and benefit to ensure everyone has a fair and enjoyable event.

Important - Biosecurity Measures

We will not be spot checking passports but ask that all competitors are considerate and ensure that their horse or pony is fully up to date with vaccinations. In light of the recent spread of EHV1 and strangles, we ask that all participants exercise full and strict biosecurity. This includes avoiding horses touching other horses, not sharing equipment/water buckets etc and not touching horses that are not from the same yard/stable as yours
