HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?
Weeton Show relies on a large number of local people to get the show off the ground. Why not be one of them?
If you have some time in the week before the show, and you’re fit and active, you could help set up the show site and/or dismantle it the day after. There’s post knocking, ring roping, marking out trade stand pitches, erecting sheep showing pens, putting up signs and a multitude of other things that need doing.
Or you could be one of our welcoming ‘show stewards’ on the day itself, helping thousands of visitors have an enjoyable and safe day out in the country side. There is something for everyone to get involved with - scanning tickets on the gates, directing traffic, car parking - it doesn’t matter whether you have the whole day, or just two hours; we can find a job to suit your interests and abilities.
Get involved and get the buzz of being part of this fantastic, successful local event.

A “people person”, with connections to the local area and with good IT skills would find this job very rewarding.
Website/IT Co-ordinator
We need someone to manage the content of our website (no need to write it – our committee members are doing that) and keep our various software packages up to date.
(Don’t worry if you feel underqualified – full training will be given – you will not be on your own – we have a committee of circa 18-20 with decades of experience in all areas of the show)
